The animated adaptation of Tomb Raider King has received a new update to warm up for its premiere. Kadokawa released the uncredited opening sequence of the animated series based on the popular South Korean webtoon created by SAN.G, Yuns, 3B2S , and P-crush.

The video highlights the opening theme song “SHOW DOWN,” performed by the South Korean girl group QWER. Additionally, the same band is also responsible for the ending theme “To Be Continued.” The preview offers a more detailed look at the action, the characters, and the mysterious artifacts that drive the plot.
Relics and vengeance Tomb Raider King
The story follows Jooheon Suh, a tomb raider who is betrayed by his employer and left on the brink of death due to the power of a relic. However, he travels 15 years into the past, before the emergence of supernatural tombs scattered across the world. With knowledge of future events, Jooheon begins his quest for revenge as he attempts to claim the title of King of the Tomb Raiders.
Production and premiere confirmed
Studio EEK is producing the animation, directed by Seung Wook Woo. Hyun-Jung Lee serves as character designer and chief animation director, while JuYoung Kim is composing the soundtrack. The series premieres on Japanese television on July 9th and will be simulcast on Crunchyroll. The webtoon is also being published in print by Ize Press, which will release volume 15 in July.
