The official website for the anime Tōmei Otoko to Ningen Onna ( The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-Be Wife ) has announced its release date and a new visual.
The release of Tōmei Otoko to Ningen Onna will take place on January 8, 2026, with animation by studio Project No.9.
Synopsis:
Yakō Shizuka is a quiet and shy woman who works at a detective agency. Her boss, Tounome, is a kind and elegant man who also possesses a special ability—he's invisible! This unique talent is ideal for investigations, but it doesn't work on Yakō, who is blind and always knows when he's nearby. Enchanted by her, Tounome is determined to win her over and doesn't hesitate to use his abilities to do so. Meanwhile, Yakō deals with the challenges of an unexpected workplace romance, accompanied by her peculiar colleagues: a human man with a contradictory personality and a beast-woman with a welcoming demeanor.
Iwatobineko began publishing the manga on X/Twitter in 2021, and in the same year, the work began to be serialized on the pixiv Comic and Comic Natalie .
Finally, Futabasha released the sixth volume this Wednesday (27), while Seven Seas Entertainment published the fourth in September 2024.
