TOP 5 – Novels to warm the heart

During this period of quarantine we are all a little apathetic without social contact and also taking into account the winter that makes everything literally colder. So in this TOP 5, some romance anime and manga will be presented to warm your heart!

Tsurezure Children

In free translation, the title would be something like “Tedious Children”, this anime consists of showing the relationship between several students from the same school and their experiences with love.

Following very fun and quirky couples, the anime is a romantic comedy that despite having a simple story about children falling in love, stands out for its unique characters who deal with their feelings in the most senseless ways possible.

Always showing youthful inexperience with embarrassing but cute moments and innocent affection (at least most of the time) with the people they love. Tsurezure Children is almost like a first love simulator.

The anime came out in 2017 by Studio Gokumi and has 12 episodes.

Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu

Komi Can't Communicate or Komi Can't Communicate is a manga about a high school student who, as the name says, has difficulty communicating, and of course, the characters (and fans) deify the misunderstood Shouko Komi .

Anyway, the story follows Tadano Hitohito and Shouko Komi, a shy girl who has the goal of making 100 friends at an elite private school that only the strangest people (maybe in the world) go to. However, in contrast to the madness of his colleagues we have the protagonist Tadano, practically being the reader's view of the story, whose objective is to help Komi get a hundred friends, but this is not so easy, especially with rivals in love and an absurd density.

The manga is written and illustrated by Tomohito Oda , being published in Weekly Shonen Sunday and having 18 volumes to date.

Kimi ni Todoke

Kimi ni Todoke is a super shoujo, with an excellent anime adaptation.

Having as the protagonist and star of the anime, Kuronuma Sawako , maliciously nicknamed Sadako (from the film The Ring ) because of her dark appearance and her cold attitude caused by her social awkwardness.

Even with this cliché premise, Kimi ni Todoke is an anime with heart, showing Sawako's struggle to become a better person, trying to discover more about the people she admires and about herself. The romance in the story is gentle, but it progresses well according to the personality of Sawako and her romantic partner Shouta Kazehaya, with a lot of conflict in their lives due to this love.

The anime was inspired by the manga of the same name by Karuho Shiina , with a total of 2 seasons and 38 episodes.

Tsuki ga Kirei

This is an original anime with a closed ending, so you will find a rounded story showing the difficulties and happiness of love, and it is certainly the most beloved anime on this list.

Following Kotaro Azumi and Akane Mizuno , 3rd year high school students, who like many real romances of the 21st century, Kotaro and Akane, despite being in the same class, communicate via LINE (messaging app), thus staying close to each other despite their shyness, throughout the anime they need to understand their own feelings and be able to resolve their conflicts.

Tsuki ga Kirei is something like “The Moon is Beautiful”

Feel studio anime was released in 2017 with 12 episodes.

Hetakoi

Hetakoi is a seinen romance manga with ecchi, so in addition to reading a beautiful romance, there will be nudity (be careful!).

The manga follows Shizuka Komai , who has the bizarre nickname Grandpa for always acting like an elderly person. He is in his first year of college and joins a hot springs club called Tabisen, and there he meets Ruka Shinohara , a beautiful and innocent girl.

Hetakoi has very good character dynamics and an interesting story – not to mention the balance between ecchi and romance, which is very well done.

The work of author and illustrator Junko Nakano was published in Young Jump and has 61 chapters divided into 10 volumes.
