
KOEI Tecmo has released a five-minute animated trailer for the game Toukiden Kiwami. The game is scheduled for release on August 28th. The standard PS Vita will be sold for 5,800 yen (approximately US$57), while the downloadable version will cost ¥5,143 (US$ 51).
The PlayStation Portable version standard cost ¥4,800 (US$ 47), while the edition download will be available for ¥4,286 (US $42). The Treasure Box will include a Tenko, art book, soundtrack CD, and a download code for six costumes character This set will sell for ¥11,800 (US$116) for the PlayStation Vita and ¥10,800 (US$ 106) for the PlayStation Portable. Early copies of the game will also include a download code for Soma and Reki costumes.
The original game is set several years after a cataclysm temporal unleashed demons into the human world. Players control a demon hunter tasked with ridding the world of the new threat. The studio Omega-Force, which developed the franchise Musou (warrior) , and Hidari (Fractale, Natsu-iro Kiseki, Vividred Operation) designed the characters for the game. Studio 4 °C animated a short film to promote the game.
