Transformers: Age of Extinction received a special trailer for the Japanese market. Featuring the lead actor Mark Wahlberg , who in the video introduces the film as Transformers: Lost Age .
In the plot, with humanity trying to rebuild four years after the conclusion of Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon, Autobots and Decepticons disappear from the face of the Earth. However, a powerful group of scientists and businessmen, seeking to learn from past Transformer invasions, end up pushing the boundaries of technology beyond their control.
Nicola Peltz (The Last Airbender) will play the teenage daughter of Mark Wahlberg's character, while Jack Reynor will play her boyfriend, a race car driver. Stanley Tucci plays a scientist; Kelsey Grammer plays the villain, Harold Attinger, an industrial spy, and Sophia Myles, from Underworld, also plays a scientist.
Transformers 4 is scheduled for release on June 27th in the US and July 18th in Brazil.
