The manga is therefore centered on Tsumugi, who is not good at socializing with others, when she suddenly moves in and ends up becoming a freeloader in the house of a manga artist named Ryōtarō.

In addition, the author also launched the manga Atsumori-kun's Bride-to-be (Atsumori-kun no Oyome-san [←Mitei]) in Dessert in May 2018 and concluded the series in October 2020. The sixth and final volume was then released in January 2021.

Finally, Taamo launched a new manga titled Itoshi no Kanojo ga Kakure Otaku Datta (My Lover is a Closet Otaku) in Shogakukan's Flowers magazine in December 2019, and the manga is ongoing but serialized irregularly. Shogakukan published the first compiled volume of the manga physically in March 2022.
