A psychological enigma in a distorted world

In Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo, players are immersed in a Tokyo-inspired environment filled with mysteries and puzzles. The protagonist, Zena, awakens in a disturbing territory where reality blends with dangerous hallucinations. Each scenario demands strategy and observation to solve challenges and advance the story.

The city, which functions as a reflection of the characters' fears and inner conflicts, is full of hidden clues. However, to escape, the teenagers must confront their own emotional dilemmas, deciphering riddles that unlock new areas and hidden secrets.

Characters trapped in their own conflicts

The six protagonists of Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo are confronted by their vulnerabilities as they try to find a way out of the labyrinthine city. Each one deals with a psychological aspect that influences the gameplay: Zena faces her stubbornness, Itsuki deals with jealousy, Honoka combats paranoia, Kaito struggles with his insecurity, Hiyori challenges her vanity, and Soto tries to overcome his emotional dependence.

The player will need to understand each character's traumas to advance the narrative. Therefore, interacting with elements of the environment and deciphering mental challenges will be essential to uncovering the city's secrets and finding possible escape routes.

Mysteries and choices impact the characters' destinies

Beyond the puzzles, the narrative of Type-NOISE: Shonen Shojo unfolds with multiple possible endings. Thus, the decisions made throughout the journey directly affect the fate of the protagonists and their relationship with the enigmatic city guide, Spectre, a mysterious feline who guides players through this distorted universe.

The full version of the game is scheduled for release in 2025 on PC via Steam. Meanwhile, those interested can already add the title to their Steam wishlist and try out the new demo at Steam Next Fest.
