The official website for Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete has released the first two promotional videos for the series based on the adult game. The series is scheduled to premiere on October 4th.
The story of the original game takes place in autumn, specifically at the beginning of the 21st century in the Uchihama area. Uchihama Academy is growing by leaps and bounds. With the construction of a new school building, there will be one last General Club Festival in the old building, which is scheduled to be closed. The students vow to go all out to make this final cultural festival a success.
Naoto Hosoda will direct the anime at the animation studio Sinta, with scripts by Sadayuki Murai, Tatsuya Takahashi, and Satoko and Shinozuka handling series composition. Ikuo Yamakado will be creating the characters based on the original designs by Kurehito Misaki and Shinobu Kuroya.
