A new supernatural comedy anime is coming soon! The manga Ushiro no Shōmen Kamui-san (Kamui-San Directly Behind You), written by Eroki and illustrated by Konoshiro Shinko, will receive an anime with a confirmed premiere in the Japanese summer of 2026.

The plot features Shizuka, a high school girl who constantly attracts ghosts. Because of this, she ends up working as an assistant to Kamui, an exorcist with immense powers. However, his purification method is completely out of the ordinary and full of racy moments. Nevertheless, the animation style is quite different from that of the animator Maplestar.
Furthermore, the authors celebrated the news with special illustrations. Eroki highlighted that the promise of an animation, made six years ago, has finally come true.
