As previously reported, the trailer for the second season of Vinland Saga . The video confirms that the premiere is scheduled for January 2023 in Japan, and that production has indeed moved to MAPPA .
Director Shuhei Yabuta had previously confirmed that the team from the first season of Vinland Saga , previously animated by WIT Studio , would return for the second season.
Finally, the director wrote on Twitter: “ The flashy events will decrease and the pace of the story will slow down. However, the characters' emotions will move with more force and fervor. I promise it will be a unique experience like no other. I hope everyone enjoys the second season!”

Synopsis:
As a child, Thorfinn sat at the feet of the great Leif Ericson and thrilled to hear wild tales of a distant land to the west.
