It was announced by MiracleBus that Kyoto Animation studio's Violet Evergarden will get an anime . After winning several trailers with beautiful animation and also being named as the possible best anime of this year.
Although MiracleBus lists Violet Evergarden as a 2017 series on the Kyoto Animation website, we can see that a “preview” will take place on October 21st. Autumn anime series typically premiere in early October, and winter season anime typically premiere the following year. So if Violet Evergarden is a normal anime series, a preview on October 21st would imply a premiere in 2018.

Violet Evergarden is an “Auto Memories Doll”, a robot made to help those who cannot write put their thoughts on paper. Throughout her life, Violet meets many people and connects many hearts through her letters. Although her time with each person is short, the bonds formed during her time will not be easily forgotten.”
