The official website for Naru Narumi Watari-kun no xx ga Hōkaisunzen (Watari-kun's ***** is About to Collapse ) has released two new promotional videos, along with a new visual and the release date.

One of the videos reveals the release date. The anime premieres on July 4 , 2025 on Tokyo MX and on July 5 , 2025 on other channels and platforms. It also showcases the opening theme song “Yuurei ni Naritai” by singer Yuika . Check it out:

Voice cast and new look
The website also revealed a new visual for the anime and new names for the voice cast; check them out below:
- Megu Umezawa will play Makina Umezawa;
- Yoshiki Nakajima will play Shigenobu Tokui;
- Hinaki Yano will play Suzushiro Watari.
Synopsis Watari-kun no xx ga Hōkaisunzen
manga series written and illustrated by Naru Narumi . It was originally serialized in Kadokawa 's Young Ace from August 2014 to January 2015.
The series was later transferred to Kodansha 's Monthly Young Magazine , where it continued from November 2015 to September 2023.
Since his parents died, Watari Nao's life has revolved around his younger sister. He forgoes club activities to spend time with her, leading many of his peers to label him a SISCON. But as long as his sister is happy, Nao is willing to silence any unwelcome comments about himself. Unbeknownst to Nao, however, a greater danger has resurfaced—one that destroyed his way of life six years ago and threatens to do so once again, and that danger comes in the form of a girl wielding a garden hoe.
