For fans of the older generation, a quick trailer for Mobile Police Patlabor , the live-action project based on the classic 80s anime, is online.
The first chapter, comprising the first two episodes out of 13, is scheduled to be shown in cinemas on April 5, 2014, followed by the second on May 31, the third on July 12, the fourth on August 30, the fifth on October 18, the sixth on November 29, and the seventh on January 10, 2015.
The Next Generation - Patlabor, a film directed by Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Sky Crawlers), will be released during "Golden Week" (between April and May) of 2015.
