The official Twitter for the anime World Trigger announced that the 14th and final episode of the third season will air on Saturday, January 22nd.

The episode was supposed to air this Sunday on TV Asahi and its affiliates, but the stations changed their schedule due to special news bulletins. The anime's Twitter account confirmed the delay 23 minutes later.

TV Asahi's NUMAnimation programming block had already scheduled the anime Salaryman's Club to premiere in the time slot of World Trigger's 3rd season next week. The Salaryman's Club anime website announced on Sunday that the anime's premiere has been postponed to Saturday, January 29th.

An underwater volcano in the South Pacific island nation of Tonga erupted Saturday around 5 p.m., prompting the Japan Meteorological Agency to issue a tsunami warning for the Amami Islands and Tokara Islands in southwestern Kagoshima Prefecture. The agency then issued a warning for nearly the entire east coast of Japan and specifically warned of waves up to three meters (about 10 feet) in northeastern Iwate Prefecture. Amami Ohshima Island reported a 1.2-meter (about four-foot) wave Saturday evening.

New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Canada, and other nations surrounding the Pacific Ocean also issued tsunami warnings and alerts. Japan lifted its nationwide tsunami warnings on Sunday afternoon.

The third season of World Trigger premiered on October 9th on TV Asahi's NUMAnimation programming block and airs on Sundays.
