Patch 1.5 for Wuchang Fallen Feathers has arrived, bringing significant changes to gameplay and combat. Released on PC on August 12th and on consoles on August 14th, 2025, the update promises to make battles more dynamic, responsive, and strategic. Improvements range from animation adjustments to changes in enemy AI behavior, all designed to refine the player experience.
- Take-Two claims that GTA 6 will arrive on time and without delays
- Nintendo Switch receives Palland, a game accused of copying Palworld
More than just simple fixes, Patch 1.5 was shaped by community feedback, directly impacting the flow of fights, character mobility, and even progression elements. Each change aims to reduce frustration and increase tactical possibilities during matches.

Faster and more strategic recovery
One of the highlights of the update is the improved animation for getting up after being knocked down. Previously, the character was vulnerable to consecutive attacks from bosses like Commander Honglan or General Ming, making certain fights practically unfair.
Now, in addition to increased speed, the player can choose the exact moment to stand up, transforming the action into a timed dodge. This change favors the strategic use of invincibility, especially against charge or crushing attacks.
Faster and safer healing
The healing process has also received special attention. The animation for drinking the recovery item is faster and, for the first time, can be canceled with a dodge. This means it's possible to recover energy and, if necessary, quickly escape an aggressive enemy. This new feature makes intense fights less punishing and more balanced.

AI and enemy adjustments
The developers refined the artificial intelligence of some enemies, avoiding repetitive patterns and predictable attacks. This makes it easier to interrupt certain enemies, increasing the effectiveness of light weapons. Furthermore, NPCs received new dialogue that helps complete specific narrative threads, strengthening the story's immersion.
Corrections to progress and blocked endings
Patch 1.5 also fixes an issue in Chapter 4 that prevented players from reaching specific endings, such as Bound by Fate's Threads and Dream's Sweet Deceit. With the fix, it's possible to revisit this part of the campaign without the risk of missing important content.
Improvements to combat and exploration flow
The update has reduced the impact of certain creatures, allowing light attacks to interrupt charges early in the match. Spike traps now have longer ranges, and landmines cause less damage and are less numerous in certain chapters.
Elevators also became faster, and the game began implementing the ability to respawn directly at the entrance to boss battles, eliminating the repetitive walk to the fight.
