president XboxSarah Bond revealed that the console brand's "very premium, high-performance experience," leading gamers to predict a hefty price tag.

website Mashable, Bond briefly commented on the brand's future after a generation considered disappointing. "The next-generation console will be a very premium, very sophisticated experience," she said, highlighting that part of this vision can already be seen in the ROG Xbox Ally.

What to expect from the new Xbox

Although the executive did not reveal technical details, the use of the term "premium" suggests that the new hardware may focus on power and integration with the PC, strengthening rumors about a console-computer hybrid. This strategy would place the Xbox on a new level—more expensive, but also with cutting-edge specifications.

On the other hand, insiders like Moore's Law Is Dead claim that the next PlayStation should be less powerful, but more affordable. If confirmed, Microsoft may be targeting a smaller audience, but one willing to invest in an elite experience.

However, the strategy raises questions. The constant increase in prices for games, subscriptions, and even the company's development kits may alienate part of the fan base. Thus, Xbox may be betting everything on a positioning closer to the PC gaming market than to the traditional console audience.
