The official Twitter account for the anime adaptation of Tajimi City's promotional manga Yakunara Mug Cup Mo has revealed the April 2021 premiere date and a new preview.

The anime also features live-action, with the anime's cast highlighting famous Tajima locations and shops, and challenges.
Staff and Cast
Jun Kamiya (Blue Seed, Kingdom ) is directing the anime at Nippon Animation , while Naruhisa Arakawa ( Twin Stars Exorcists , This Art Club Has a Problem!) is writing and supervising the script. Ayano Yoshioka is serving as art director and character designer.
The cast includes Minami Tanaka as budding ceramic artist Himeno Toyokawa, Yuu Serizawa as Himeno's classmate Mika Kukuri, Yuuki Wakai as anime and gaming addict Naoko Naruse who spends all her time in the club for some reason, and Rina Honnizumi as club president Toko Aoki who has enjoyed ceramics since she was young.
Synopsis
The city of Tajimi, located in the southern part of Gifu, Japan, is famous for Minoware. The city boasts historic pottery artisans and ceramic art museums. It also boasts facilities where you can get hands-on with pottery making, and many restaurants serve Minoware dishes.
The story begins when a high school student moves to a shopping street in Taijimi. Many encounters await her: friends, locals, ceramic art, and more. Ultimately, what will she discover in this town famous for ceramics?
Additionally, the Yakunara Mug Cup Mo Pottery manga launched in 2012, publishing four chapters per year, totaling 32 chapters to date. The manga also has a four-panel spinoff called Naoko no Kobachi.
