Your Forger: Adult film receives unusual criticism from fans

Rafael Shinzo
My name is Rafael Alves, known as Shinzo. I created the AnimeNew website in 2009 to offer news about anime, manga, and games directly from Japan.

Amidst numerous Blu-ray and DVD releases inspired by anime franchises in 2023, a title based on 'Spy × Family' quickly stood out as a popular phenomenon among audiences. This film stars the talented actress Himari Hanazawa (花沢ひまり), shining in her cosplay of the character Yor Forger. Being one of the first 'official' projects derived from the franchise, produced by Total Media Agency (TMA), its authenticity boosted fan interest.

In this context, the film became notable not only for its connection to the franchise, but also for Hanazawa and the production quality provided by Total Media Agency. These elements contributed to its appeal and popularity with the audience.

Despite being produced by TMA, the film did not escape criticism. Surprisingly, Japanese fans demonstrated a more intense interest than one might expect. In a universe where one might assume that viewers would simply watch, enjoy themselves, and move on, the comments were an essential part of the experience.

Therefore, the film, which has a duration of 182 minutes (3 hours and 2 minutes), can be found with the code SAIT-028.

Synopsis:

Captured and humiliated, Yor Forger experiences an uninterrupted stream of endless pleasure! A group of men do whatever they want with her.

However, the synopsis tells a very simple story about Yor Forger. But the Japanese didn't like it! Apparently, they are quite critical when it comes to parodying a character, as they didn't like Himari Hanazawa's interpretation of the character.

  • People talk about the story, but these kinds of movies are always like this, there's no story. It's the kind of content where people cosplaying as characters are blamed; some people are overly concerned that the original content be respected
  • It's incredible to find reviews of a film like this, so much so that I want to participate as well. If it were an adaptation of a doujinshi or some kind of "homage," I think that would have been appropriate. Don't expect to see a story similar to Titanic here.
  • From the initial capture scene, she doesn't seem like an experienced assassin. The depravity aspect is well done. Perhaps a more developed backstory would have made it seem better .
  • I don't like this, Yor-san isn't that weak in SPY x FAMILY. There was a fight scene at the beginning, she hit two guys, but another one pointed a gun at her and I thought she was going to dodge or something, but they caught her by surprise and knocked her out .
  • First of all, if you're a fan of SPY x FAMILY, you shouldn't watch it. In the story, Yor-san, who possesses invincible strength, falls into the enemy's hands in the first minute. He couldn't defeat a weapon from afar, even though he did in the anime. And then she is restrained and raped, but her restraints seem so fragile that fans of the original work would surely think: "She would break so easily.".
