Yowa Yowa Sensei (Yowayowa teacher), a manga by Kamio Fukuchi, had its anime adaptation announced this Tuesday (03) by Weekly Shōnen Magazine.
Synopsis Yowa Yowa Sensei:
The story follows Akihito Abikura, a second-year high school student, and his new teacher, Hiyori Hiwarimura. A recent English graduate, Hiyori is extremely shy and doesn't make a good first impression. Her habit of using a notebook full of sticky notes to stay organized gives rise to rumors that she's casting curses on her students. Because of this, she earns the nickname "Scary Teacher".
However, Akihito realizes that the teacher isn't scary, but rather misunderstood. But after catching her teaching alone to a stuffed animal in an empty room, he decides to help her overcome her shyness. From there, the relationship between the two develops into a captivating plot full of emotional moments.
Therefore, Yowa Yowa Sensei is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Kamio Fukuchi. Finally, the series began its publication in Weekly Shōnen Magazinein November 2022, and as of October 2024 it already has nine collected volumes (tankōbon).
