After the hiatus due to the COVID-19 , the Yu -Gi-Oh! Sevens anime has finally announced its return, with episode 10 scheduled for August 14th .
TV Tokyo re-aired episodes 1-6 on July 11th . BS-TV Tokyo will therefore re-air episodes 7-9 starting July 24th and will broadcast episode 10 on August 14th .
The anime features a protagonist in elementary school for the first time in the franchise. The anime introduces a new "Rush Duel" rule and takes place in the future in the city of Goha. Yūga Ōdō, a fifth-grade student, loves inventions and duels. Her classmate, Luke, is the "number one duelist of Goha 7 School." Gakuto is the student council president, and Romin is Yūga's classmate
Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens celebrates the franchise's 20th anniversary Konami announced the series with the teasing phrase: "The story of the Yu-Gi-Oh! series will undergo changes."
