Yurucamp film gets new image

The official website for the Yurucamp anime has revealed that the film in the franchise will premiere in the summer of 2022 , as well as releasing a new image showcasing the film's visuals.

The image shows the five young women, all a little older now and in front of a wide open field, check it out:

The team consulted the manga creator at almost every stage of production, from the first draft of the script and designs. Director Yoshiaki Kyougoku thanked fans for their support, which he says is what made the film happen, and joked about once again scouting locations and eating delicious camp food while producing the anime.

The anime's five main voice actresses will reprise their roles.

Synopsis

Nadeshiko, a high school girl who moved to Yamanashi, decides to visit the famous Mount Fuji on the thousand-yen bills. However, while cycling to Motosu, she faints from exhaustion and wakes up in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar place, unsure of how to get home. Fortunately, she's saved by Rin, a girl camping alone—and thus begins the story of these girls who love the outdoors.

The first season of Yurucamp premiered in January 2018 , had a total of 12 episodes, and was streamed on Crunchyroll . The series received a spin-off called ROOM CAMP (Heya Camp), which premiered in January 2020. The second season of the anime premiered on January 7 .

The voice actors and crew announced the film at an event held in October 2018 .

The manga launched in Houbunsha 's Manga Time Kirara Forward in 2015.
