A sequel to the manga Zatch Bell! ( Konjiki no Gash!! ) was announced today, February 26th. According to information from the author Raiku Makoto , the series will get a sequel after 16 years .
The new sequel is titled “Konjiki no Gash!! 2”, and will be released digitally starting in March of this year.

Synopsis:
Every thousand years, one hundred demons are sent to Earth to battle each other, so that the last one remaining becomes the king of their world. They carry with them a book, written with strange letters that are actually unrevealed spells that unleash a mamodo's hidden power; when awakened, these spells become readable, and the human guardian can activate them.
Thus, the work is written and illustrated by Makoto Raiku, and it premiered in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine in January 2001.
The anime Konjiki no Gash Bell! was produced by Toei Animation , directed by Tetsuki Nakamura and Yukio Kaizawa , and began airing on April 4, 2004 on Fuji TV with 150 episodes.
Finally, in addition to the anime series, there are two films based on the work.
