Spoiler alert: In episode 4 of season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen , the anime introduced the mother of the character Megumi Fushiguro . Her image appeared in a flashback of Megumi's father, Toji Fushiguro , while he was facing Satoru Gojo .

Initially, Toji never showed any attachment to Megumi or the rest of his family. However, on his deathbed, Megumi's father had a brief flashback of his son as a baby and his wife. Megumi's mother's name is still unknown, except for her surname, Fushiguro. Apparently, she has already passed away, but she managed to leave an emotional mark on Toji's memories.
Synopsis:
The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who becomes involved with a secret society of sorcerers called Jujutsu Kaisen, who fight against curses, evil beings that haunt the world of the living. To protect his friends and innocent people, Yuji decides to join the Jujutsu sorcerers as a trainee under the tutelage of Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer of them all.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2020 and had 24 episodes animated by studio MAPPA . The studio also handled the animation for the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 , which takes place a few years before the main series and tells the story of young Yuta Okkotsu.
