Platinum End gets an anime adaptation

anime adaptation of Platinum End by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata ( Death Note , Bakuman) has been announced. According to official information, the series will premiere on Japanese TV in the fall 2021 season.

Synopsis

The story follows the boy Mirai, who is plunged into darkness. But his battle is only beginning when he receives salvation from above in the form of an angel. Now Mirai faces 12 other chosen humans in a battle where the winner becomes the next god of the world. Mirai has an angel in his corner, but he may need to become a demon to survive.

Finally, Platinum End is a manga series written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata, creators of the Death Note manga series. It has been serialized in Shueisha's monthly Jump Square magazine since November 4, 2015.
