As announced in 2013, the new Fairy Tail series will premiere in April. Wasting no time in promoting the show, the official website has begun posting images of the characters with their new designs, starting with Natsu and Lucy .
Animation director Shinji Ishihira previously stated that he was happy to be able to bring the anime to the air in the spring.
He also mentioned that when there's a major change on the team's part, the workload increases to some extent, and of course, this ensures better quality in the final result.
