The official website for the anime Saihate no Paladin (The Faraway Paladin) revealed on Friday that the second season will premiere this fall.
In addition, the website revealed the first promotional video for the new season, the main team, the main cast, and promotional artwork.

Therefore, the second season is titled Saihate no Paladin: Tetsusabi no Yama no Ou (The Faraway Paladin: The King of the Iron Rust Mountain)
Shouya Chiba will therefore voice Will as an adult. Additionally, Maki Kawase is still credited as the voice of Will as a child and as a boy, reprising the role from the first season.

Akira Iwanaga (The Morose Mononokean, Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee, Arifureta – From Commonplace to World's Strongest season 2) is the new director of the anime at OLM and Sunrise Beyond (Children's Playground Entertainment animated the first season). Tatsuya Takahashi (Wise Man's Neto, World's End Harem, Eromanga Sensei) is again supervising the series scripts, while Tatsuya Arai (KING'S RAID: Successors of the Will) is a new character designer alongside character designer Koji Haneda. Ryuuichi Takada and Keigo Hoashi of MONACA are returning to compose the music.
The first season of the anime premiered in October 2021, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
Synopsis
In the ruined city of the dead, far from human civilization, lives a human child named Will. He is raised by three undead: Blood, the heroic skeleton warrior; Mary, the elegant mummy priestess; and Gus, a grumpy ghost wizard. The three teach the boy everything they know and shower him with love. One day, the boy begins to wonder, "Who am I?". Eventually, as he unravels the mysteries of the dead hidden in this distant land, Will learns about the piety and love of the good gods, and the paranoia and madness of the evil gods, and embarks on a journey to become a Paladin.
