The official Twitter for the manga Oshi no Ko , by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari , revealed a new short story by Akasaka on Wednesday titled “ 45510 ”.
Oshi No Ko – Manga receives a new short story
The short story served as the basis for the opening theme song of YOASOBI , " Idol ," for the television anime adaptation of the manga, and addresses the story of the character " Ai " from a different perspective.
The anime premiered in Japan on Wednesday with a 90-minute first episode. The first episode of the 90-minute version was also shown in advance screenings at cinemas across Japan on March 17.
Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) and Chao Nekotomi (Love is Like a Cocktail) are directing the series at Doga Kobo. Jin Tanaka (The Misfit of Demon King Academy) is handling the series scripts. Finally, Kanna Hirayama (Rent-A-Girlfriend) is designing the characters.
Furthermore, it's worth remembering that Queen Bee sings the ending theme song "Mephisto".
Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and Yokoyari (Scum's Wish) then launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine in April 2020. Shueisha's MANGA Plus service is releasing the manga digitally in English.
Synopsis
The story follows a doctor named Gorou, a fan of a 16-year-old idol named Ai Hoshin. One day, Hoshino appears at his office, claiming to be pregnant with twins, but her manager tells her to abort the babies. However, the idol refuses; she wants to have both children. Gorou promises her a safe delivery. Little does he know that an encounter with a mysterious figure will result in his premature death, or so he thought. Opening his eyes in the arms of his beloved idol, Gorou discovers he has been reborn as Aquamarine Hoshino, Ai's newborn son! With his world turned upside down, Gorou soon discovers that the world of showbiz is full of controversies, where talent doesn't always bring success.
