The special New Year's live stream for the anime Rascal Does Not Dream ( Seishun Buta Yarou ) released a promotional video for the anime adaptation of the " University Student Arc ".

Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid , the second of two films in the franchise's most recent sequel project, premiered in Japan on December 1st in 103 theaters across Japan and debuted in 4th place in its opening weekend. The film sold 119,000 tickets, grossing approximately 163 million yen in its first three days.
The new anime project adapts the eighth and ninth volumes of the franchise: Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid .
Kadokawa published the first novel in Hajime Kamoshida , titled Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Seishun Buta Yarō wa Bunny Girl-senpai no Yume wo Minai), in April 2014.
