Hunter x Hunter series , created by Yoshihiro Togashi , is officially back in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump , but with a twist: starting with chapter 401, the manga will be published irregularly, according to the author's own schedule.
This decision was made by the Shonen Jump editorial department, respecting Togashi's , as he has been facing health problems. The new chapters will be released without a defined weekly schedule.
The final chapter of the manga was released at the end of 2022, on December 26th, marking a return after almost two years of hiatus. Chapter 401 of the manga debuted in issue 45 of the magazine, released on October 7th, 2024.
Furthermore, the new chapter included a color page and a summary of the current story arc. Although the manga is not resuming a weekly serialization schedule, this sporadic return is already cause for celebration for fans who eagerly await each new chapter.
