The official website for the Jujutsu Kaisen revealed that the second season will adapt two arcs from the manga, "Kaigyoku" and the infamous "Shibuya Incident." The website also revealed that the new season will air in two consecutive cours, meaning the anime will last half a year.

The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen premiered in October 2020 and had 24 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the anime in Brazil.
Synopsis
Yuuji Itadori is a high school student living in Sendai with his grandfather. He regularly avoids the track team due to his aversion to athletics, despite his innate talent for the sport. Instead, he decides to join the Occult Research Club, where he can relax and hang out with his seniors, and leave school at 5 PM to visit his grandfather in the hospital. While he is on his deathbed, his grandfather sends two powerful messages within Yuuji – “always help people” and “die surrounded by a crowd.”.
The staff for the new season has not yet been announced, but we know that director Sunghoo Park has left the anime's production. The staff for the first season included Sunghoo Park as director at studio MAPPA ( Kakegurui , Dorohedoro ). Hiroshi Seko handled the composition and script. Arisa Okehazama, Hiroaki Tsutsumi, and Yoshimasa Terui composed the soundtrack. Tadashi Hiramatsu did the character design. Jeong Ryeon Kim was the art director, while Kentaro Kimura and Miki Kaneda were the 3D directors. Akiko Fujita was the sound director and Teppei Ito the director of photography.
Author Gege Akutami launched the manga in Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. Furthermore, in December 2021, he released the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Toritsu Jujutsu Koutou Senmon Gakkou, which adapts a prequel to Jujutsu Kaisen.
