The 6 saddest anime ever created
Check it out:
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (2011)
First, let's open our list of short anime with this one, which is simply heartbreaking. From the very beginning of the plot, we know the girl is dead, meaning it's irreparable. But as the story unfolds, we witness the suffering each character endures because of that incident. Without a doubt, this series has one of the saddest endings of all time.
Angel Beats! (2010)
Angel Beats!: Now, Angel Beats also makes an impact right from the start. Everyone in the show has suffered greatly in their lives. In fact, their stories are all very moving and sad, leaving anyone in tears. The saddest part is that, despite all of them being reincarnated, unfortunately none of them know each other or remember their past.
Orange (2016)
Orange: Here, we see Orange, another work that touched everyone's hearts. Consequently, we must point out that even though the boy is saved in the end, we all know that the other parallel world that sent the letters will have to cope with the boy's loss. In other words, in the end they didn't even know that they had managed to save Naruse, unfortunately.
Shigatsu Wa Kimi no Uso (2016)
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso: On the other hand, opening our list of longer works, we have this one that touched everyone! Furthermore, the protagonist's overcoming of obstacles was beautiful and inspiring to watch. However, the heroine's death at the end certainly left everyone devastated. In fact, the final scene deserves special mention, as it was perfect!
Katanagatari (2010)
Katanagatari: Now, I strongly recommend that everyone watch this work. Because, even though each episode is 50 minutes long and the plot is a bit slow, the ending is phenomenal! It definitely caught me by surprise, and that last scene was touching from beginning to end. I'll avoid any spoilers, so please go watch it now.
Little Busters! (2012)
Finally, we have another work that surprised everyone over time. It also has a rather slow narrative, but as it progresses and the truths emerge, it becomes simply magnificent. Without a doubt, the ending of the second season will bring tears to the eyes of any grown man, and just remembering it makes me emotional.
Finally, is there any anime that you consider sad and admire that we missed? Leave your comment!
