Shouta Umehara , animation producer at CloverWorks , posted a note on social media revealing that the production of a sequel to the anime adaptation of the manga written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda , Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru ( My Dress-Up Darling ), has not been planned.
A second season of Sono Bisque Doll was not in the studio's plans
In his post, he wrote:
"Congratulations on the announced continuation of Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru! It's not that a second season was planned, but it was thanks to the strong support of everyone who watched the anime and went crazy for it, and everyone who bought the merchandise and all kinds of products! This is crazy because it wasn't in my plans, but I will do my best as long as there are people interested in seeing my work!"

The first season premiered during the January 2022 in Japan and had a total of twelve episodes.
Synopsis:
"In short, Wakana Gojou is a hina doll maker who one day meets a girl at school who is obsessed with cosplay. From then on, he becomes her friend and ends up sewing clothes for her to create her much-desired cosplay outfits."
