The anime Alma-chan wa Kazoku ni Naritai ( Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family ) has received a new main visual and revealed more cast members before its premiere on October 5, 2025. The news was presented during a special broadcast held this Saturday (5). Among the newly confirmed voice actors are Hikaru Tono , Saku Mizuno and Sayaka Sembongi .
Studio Flad ( Banished from the Hero's Party Yasuhiro Minami ( Raven of the Inner Palace is directing , while Yukie Sugawara ( Overlord , Tougen Anki ) is composing the series. The character design is by Mika Yamamoto , known for her work on Tiger & Bunny The Movie -The Rising- . A previous trailer already featured the series' opening theme song.
Based on the manga written and illustrated by Nanateru , the anime adapts the work published on Kadokawa Shoten's Comic Newtype July 2021 and February 2024. The sequel, titled Alma-chan Wants to Have a Family Z , began in July 2024.
The story follows Alma , a cute but incredibly powerful girl, created as a weapon. Despite her origins, she comes to live with the two brilliant scientists who created her. Curious and direct, Alma explores the world with innocent—and sometimes embarrassing—questions about everything around her.
