Just like manga Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) is heading towards its end, its series anime It will follow the same path. Hajime Isayama, creator of the Attack on Titan manga, previewed the layout sketch for the manga's final panel on the MBS documentary program Jōnetsu Tairiku in November. The program's official Twitter account had teased prior to its airing that the manga is entering its final arc.
The first season of the television anime premiered in April 2013, and the second season premiered in April 2017. The first part of the third season premiered last July, and the second part premiered in Japan on the NHK General channel on April 28. Funimation, Crunchyroll, and Hulu are streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
