During the MAPPA STAGE 2023 event, new promotional art for the anime Attack on Titan The Final Season ( Shingeki no Kyojin ) was revealed. According to the official website, the series will premiere this fall.

Therefore, the third part of this final season is announced as the "conclusion" of the franchise.

The latest seasons of the Attack on Titan premiered on NHK in December 2020, airing a total of 16 episodes. Part 2 premiered with episode 76 on NHK General on January 9th and aired a total of 12 episodes. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the second part as it aired in Japan.

The first season of the anime premiered in April 2013, and the second season premiered in April 2017. The first part of the third season premiered in July 2018, while the second half premiered in April 2019.

Synopsis

Humans encountered Titans in the Shiganshina district after years of peace. Eren, Mikasa, and Armin witnessed the appearance of the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan, who breached Wall Maria. The Titans invaded the city and caused carnage, including the death of Eren's mother, who was devoured before his eyes. He then decided to take revenge on all Titans by joining the Survey Corps.

Hajime Isayama launched the manga in Kodansha 's Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in 2009 and finished serialization in April 2021. Finally, the 34th and final volume of the manga was released in June 2021.
