Check it out:
Although Mori was unsure about continuing Berserk without the original author, he decided to take on this role as the story needed to continue.
“I thought maybe I could do this. I think Miura would be mad if I didn't do anything, so I made the decision.”
Furthermore, together with the Studio Gaga , he debated in several meetings what would be the best way to end his late friend's manga.
“During a three to four hour meeting, I explained the development to the Studio Gaga team. Afterwards, I exchanged personal messages with the boss. I gave recommendations on the drafts, but the final artwork is the work of Studio Gaga. The illustration skills on our team, including boss Kurosaki-kun, are extraordinary. I believe that after they finish Berserk, they will become artists who will leave their marks in the world of manga.”
