Synopsis:

The story begins with Japan's elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, prompting the Japan Football Union to launch a program to recruit high school players who will begin training for the 2022 World Cup. Isagi Yoichi , a striker, receives an invitation to this program shortly after his team misses out on qualifying for the national tournament.

Their coach, Ego Jinpachi , intends to "end Japan's failing football" by introducing a radical new training regime: isolating 300 young strikers in a prison-like institution called "Blue Lock" and putting them through rigorous training with the goal of creating "The best striker in the world."

Finally, the manga has been published by Kodansha Furthermore, the anime adaptation is scheduled to premiere in  2022 .
