The staff behind the anime Bocchi the Rock! revealed today that voice actress Ikumi Hasegawa will be playing the character Ikuyo Kita (pictured below).
Ikuyo is the guitarist and vocalist of the band. In addition, she is a first-year high school student and has a cheerful personality.

Synopsis
The story follows the life of Hitori “Bocchi-chan” Gotou, a lonely high school girl whose heart belongs to her guitar. She does nothing every day except play her guitar alone at home. However, one day she meets Nijika Ijichi, who is looking for a guitarist for his band called “Kessoku Band”.
The anime Bocchi the Rock! will premiere sometime in 2022.
