We have a new film announced for the anime Bunny Girl Senpai (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai), based on the light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Kēji Mizoguchi. The film is titled Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out.

The new film is directed by Soichi Masui with animation by CloverWorks (Yakusoku no Neverland, Darling in the FranXX). Masahiro Yokotani is returning for composition and scripts, and Satomi Tamura is returning as character designer.

Synopsis of the anime:

The story revolves around the life of high school student Sakuta Azusagawa. Things take an unexpected turn when he meets teenage actress Mai Sakurajima, dressed as an erotic bunny girl and wandering through a library. Mai is intrigued by the fact that Sakuta is the only person who can see her, as other people are unable to see her even when she is dressed normally.

The anime adaptation of Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Seishun Buta Yaro wa Bunny Girl-senpai no Yume wo Minai) premiered in Japan in October 2018 and aired for a total of 13 episodes.

Finally, the film is scheduled to premiere in Japan this summer.
