Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 was officially announced in April for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, today Activision confirmed that there will be versions of the game for last-generation consoles (PS3 and Xbox 360). But this time, Wii U players will not have a version of the trilogy to play.
This announcement was made via the franchise's official website, and Activision stated that "they know there are many players who haven't yet upgraded to the current generation.".
The version for the previous generation will have the three main modes of Black Ops 3: campaign, multiplayer, and zombies. But the co-op campaign will be limited to only two players, unlike the current generation game, which allows up to 4 simultaneous players in co-op.
