Following the release of Resident Evil 3, rumors are strongly circulating behind the scenes at Capcom. According to the website VGC , the latest rumor is about a remake of game Resident Evil 4reportedly scheduled for release in 2022.
The development would be entirely handled by M-Two, that collaborated on Resident Evil 3. Founded by former PlatinumGames (and former Capcom employee) Tatsuya Minami, who has been preparing for the project since 2018.
Finally, Shinji Mikami, director of the original Resident Evil 4, would not be involved in the development, but he gave his blessing and advice to the project's direction.
