How to Train Your Dragon 2 begins exactly five years after the events of the first film, with Hiccup, Toothless, and the rest of the gang competing against each other in dragon races, flying through the skies and discovering uncharted territories. In one of these races, Hiccup and his friends discover a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider.
The production will once again feature the voices of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, America Ferrera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kristen Wiig, and Jonah Hill. Among the new additions, the highlight is the participation of Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) as a dragon prince. Dean DeBlois, co-director of the first film, will direct.
How to Train Your Dragon 2 premieres on June 20, 2014 in the US and there is no release date scheduled for Brazil.
