Crunchyroll has confirmed its presence at Anime Friends 2025. The event will take place between July 3rd and 6th at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo. This year, the company will once again have a themed booth with exclusive activations and the premiere of the first two episodes of the anime Gachiakuta, directly at the event.
The expectation is that Crunchyroll's participation in 2025 will further strengthen its connection with the Brazilian audience, offering a complete in-person experience that goes beyond streaming.

Crunchyroll will exclusively stream Gachiakuta during the event
Crunchyroll's main highlight at this edition will be the exclusive screening of Gachiakuta, an anime officially arriving on the platform this season. The Anime Friends organization will screen the first two episodes on the Ultra Stage on Friday, July 4th, at 6 PM. However, as seating is limited, visitors should arrive early to secure a spot.
In addition to the exhibition, there will be an immersive area inspired by the anime universe. This will allow visitors to explore settings and elements of the new production in an interactive and visually impactful way.
The "Anime House" booth will feature activities, giveaways, and prizes
Named "The House of Anime," the Crunchyroll booth will feature a series of activities to engage the public throughout the five days of the event. Among the highlights is the Mega Fan Quiz, which will challenge visitors' knowledge of anime. The top performers will receive exclusive gifts and prizes, reinforcing the interactive nature of the experience.
The space will also feature informational panels, themed photo opportunities, and the distribution of collectible items such as posters and stickers of popular titles from the platform.

Crunchyroll strengthens ties with the Brazilian audience
Crunchyroll's presence at Anime Friends reinforces its strategy of connecting with its Brazilian fanbase. In addition to the event, the company invests in simultaneous releases with Japan, licensed products, partnerships with publishers and film distributors, and an active presence on local social media.
According to the company itself, the goal is to offer the Latin American public access to the best anime experience, whether through the streaming platform or at in-person events like Anime Friends.
How to participate in Crunchyroll's programming at the event
The full schedule of Crunchyroll activities will be available on the official Anime Friends and Crunchyroll Brazil channels (@crunchyroll_pt). Tickets can be purchased through the Mundo Ticket website, but it's important to note that, as of now, tickets for July 3rd have not yet been released.
For those who wish to closely follow the premiere of Gachiakuta or enjoy the attractions at the booth, the recommendation is to secure tickets in advance and follow the official profiles to avoid missing any updates.
