By transforming a simple retrieval mission into a carefully planned ambush, the manga deepens the conflicts and prepares the ground for even more decisive confrontations.

A race against time and the urgency of the ritual

The plot begins with the protagonists trying to locate the lost magic hammer, essential to undoing a curse. Urgency dominates the scene, as the characters need to complete the ritual before the end of the "hour of the ox." Otherwise, any delay will compromise everything. Therefore, Momo and his group quickly follow the clues to a traditional tourist spot, as they believe the sacred object is hidden there.

Throughout this search, the pace remains fast-paced and filled with dialogue that heightens the tension. However, upon entering the location, the characters realize they have been drawn into something far greater than they imagined.

The revelation of the false priest

The big twist in the chapter happens when the man posing as a priest reveals himself. The villain abandons his disguise, adopts a menacing appearance, and reveals that no one stole the magic hammer. The plan was different: to lure the protagonists into enemy territory and steal their powers. The trap was successful.

Momo tries to take the lead and turn the situation around. She demands that her allies return to the sanctuary and complete the ritual, but the arrival of dozens of enemies makes any chance of escape difficult. Even though she is determined, the character understands that she will not be able to handle the enemy advance alone.

The plan fails and the group is cornered

The escape attempt is interrupted by a series of attacks. A portal opens in the ground, separating the group and increasing the sense of danger. The chapter ends with a mysterious villain questioning how the protagonists will fix the situation, leaving a direct hook for the next volume.
