The official website for the Dandadan has released the official opening theme. The featured song is "Otonoke" by the band Creepy Nuts.
The anime Dandadan premiered on October 3, 2024, being broadcast simultaneously on 28 MBS/TBS group channels in the "Super Animeism TURBO" slot. Netflix also streamed the anime in Brazil.
Synopsis Dandadan:
The anime Dandadan tells the story of a nerd who faces spirits and aliens vying for his "family heirloom." And who better to help him than his high school crush and a spiritual grandma?! Momo Ayase and Okarun disagree about the paranormal. But in this quest to prove who's wrong, secret passions and paranormal battles emerge! Momo befriends Okarun, a UFO fanatic at school. While Momo believes in spirits, Okarun thinks the opposite. To resolve their differences, they decide to visit a UFO hotspot and a haunted tunnel!
DanDaDan is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. It has been serialized on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ app and website since April 2021.
