A French streaming platform caught the attention of Dandadan fans after mistakenly posting a possible release window for season 3. The platform removed the post shortly after, but the information had already spread within the community.

According to the Animation Digital Network (ADN) platform , the new season was supposed to arrive in January 2027. However, hours after the announcement, the company deleted it and issued an apology, stating that it was all an internal error. The platform reiterated that, officially, the series is still scheduled for 2027 , without a specific month or date.
What has already been confirmed about Dandadan 3?
To date, the only official confirmation came during Jump Festa 2026, held in December 2025. At that time, Dandadan announced its return in 2027. The first promotional art showed the mysterious girl emerging from the kaiju suit alongside Okarun and Turbo Granny, while Momo appears observing the scene.
The adaptation will continue to be handled by Science SARU (The Ghost in the Shell), the studio responsible for the first two 12-episode seasons. So far, the French platform has not re-confirmed the information that was mistakenly published. Therefore, fans should consider the supposed January 2027 release date as just a rumor.
