The story focuses on Ryu Lion's past
Set seven years before Bell Cranel's arrival, the story follows Ryu Lion, a member of the Astrea Familia. She seeks a sense of justice amidst conflicts plaguing the city of Orario, while dangerous forces begin to emerge.
This light novel adapts the "Astrea Record" event, released in 2020 in the game DanMachi Memoria Freese. Fujino Omori began publication in October 2022, with illustrations by Kakage, consolidating the expansion of the franchise's narrative universe.
Continuous expansion of the DanMachi franchise
The main DanMachi has surpassed 20 million copies in circulation, including spin-offs like Sword Oratoria. The anime's fifth season aired in October 2024, with a sixth already confirmed.
