The anime adaptation of Bride of the Barrier Master (Kekkaishi no Ichirinka) has been confirmed to premiere in January 2027. Kadokawa released a new promotional visual, teaser video, and the main cast and production staff.

Supernatural romance hits the screens
Based on the light novel written by Kureha and illustrated by Bodax, the story blends fantasy, romance, and supernatural elements.

Synopsis
The story follows Hana, an 18-year-old girl belonging to one of the five clans that protect Japan through powerful magical barriers. Despite awakening an unusual ability, Hana prefers to hide her powers to lead a quiet life, far from comparisons with her more admired twin sister. However, her routine changes when Saku Ichinomiya, the new leader of the Ichinomiya clan, begins the search for a wife capable of fighting alongside him.
The anime will be produced by studio TROYCA . Toru Kitahata will direct , while Yuko Kakihara will handle series composition and script. Character design is by Minami Murayama .
Finally, the work was published in 2021 by Kadokawa Bunko and illustrated by Bodax. The series also has a manga adaptation drawn by Odayaka, released in 2022 in B's Log Comic.
