The world of romantic comedies has just gained a new addition with the official announcement of the anime of Dark Summoner to Dekiteiru (I'm Dating a Dark Summoner). The production will be handled by Deregula, a label of Wwwave Corporation, promising short episodes that explore the tension between the protagonists.

To date, the technical team and voice cast remain a secret, sparking curiosity among readers of the original manga. Author Shaoh celebrated the news with a special illustration, while fans await details about the premiere date of this fantasy comedy.

The story features Roni, a cleric who harbors a deep disdain for demi-humans, and a dark summoner who defies all his prejudices. After an unexpected night of passion, they both pretend nothing happened, although their mutual desire is evident to everyone around them.

The Deregula label is known for producing straightforward animations, which generally range from three to twelve minutes in length per episode. Therefore, the anime should focus on the dynamic pacing of comedic situations and the intimate moments between Roni and the summoner.
