Demon Slayer – Anime finally reveals Hotaru's face without the mask

Hotaru Haganezuka Tanjiro 's blacksmith , always hides his identity with a mask in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba , but now he has finally revealed his face in the anime. The revelation came in the new episode of the anime in the scene where the blacksmith was finishing the protagonist's new sword.

In the 3rd season of Demon Slayer, Tanjiro, Muichiro and Mitsuri face the demons Gyokko and Hantengu to defend the Blacksmith Village . While Muichiro was imprisoned, Gyokko went to Hotaru's hut and decided to torture the blacksmith.

On the other hand, Hotaru was so focused on making Tanjiro's new sword that he didn't even notice the powerful demon beside him. Gyokko became angry about this and wanted to make the swordsmith drop the sword in order to hurt him physically and mentally, but Hotaru remained steadfast in his work even with his mask broken.

Synopsis:

After defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro needs to go to the blacksmith village to forge a new sword, since his old weapon was damaged. However, on the way, he encounters new demons sent by Muzan, the main villain of the story, with the mission of killing the blacksmiths. Without the blacksmiths, the demon slayers will have no swords to fight the demons. So Tanjiro and his friends must fight the Upper Moon demons again to stop them.

Thus, the first season of Demon Slayer premiered in April 2019 , becoming a successful phenomenon with the movie. The second season premiered on December 5 , 2021 in Japan. Finally, the third season premiered on Crunchyroll after the release of the movie To the Swordsmith Village – World Tour on February 2 in Japan.
